When the entire world was rejoicing their peaceful lives, and then came the worst nightmare in 2019. Every human on this planet never-ever imagined that an outbreak like this would occur. COVID-19 pandemic paralyzed every stratum of economy and society, for two long years.

The fear of survival, fear of losing loved ones, fear of not having the next meal, fear of unemployment…

The list of uncertainties’ seemed never-ending.

Many unfortunate people lost valuable assets in their lives. By assets, I don’t mean to particularly highlight the monetary losses. I mean the loss of near and dear ones.

Above everything, the world learnt some crucial lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

5 Lessons Everybody Must Learn From COVID-19 Pandemic

Don’t you agree that each experience bolsters new beginnings in our lives? I do! COVID-19 pandemic locked us in our homes for two years. Of course, there wasn’t any choice either!

Top 5 Lessons for the World from Covid-19 pandemic

1) Essence of family’s unconditional love is heavenly

The most precious thing one can have is a family. No matter how bad the circumstances turn out, family always hold our hands tight. Whenever we are losing our balance, their guidance provides the purpose of our lives.

So, this pandemic gave us a long break from our busy schedules to spend quality time with our families. We had a reality check of their untold efforts in making our days fruitful. We all will laugh in future reminiscing these memories spent together.

2) Humanity binds us together in any situation

A wise man once said that humanity is above all religions. This pandemic taught us this fortunate fact. Humans have differences for a purpose. Differentiating amongst humans is not what God taught us.

Mother-nature taught us that there exist no aspects of differentiation in humanity. From rich to poor, from famous to common, everyone conformed to the dreadful havoc of COVID-19. Everyone was trying to save lives leaving money and luxuries behind.

Coming forward to help the less fortunate adds to good karmas. We all are children of the same God hence we should keep humanity in our hearts first.

3) Understood the reality of this materialistic world

Money doesn’t buys happiness.

‘Materialistic’ is a deep-seated word. Only few people understand its toxicity.

In this world, the meaning of happiness has changed for some people. Having expensive belongings and all luxuries is understood as happiness. But the reality is the opposite.

Actual happiness comes from inside not from outside. The feeling of contentment even having the least resources is pivotal. One, who knows to live in less, never feels the emptiness of materialistic things.

4) Life is too short to hold grudges. Spread smiles and send hugs!!

Learn how to forgive!

“I don’t want to see his face again”, “I won’t talk to you ever in life”, these sentences may sound familiar. Agony and anger can create long-term voids between people. They start to feel like never forgiving that particular person.

We learnt from this COVID-19 pandemic that grudges can spoil relations. Resolving them with wise communication can brew oodles of love. We should know how forgiving someone feels. Cheers to good old memories with a small ‘sorry’ or ‘it’s okay’ is amazing, isn’t it?

Mental peace is important for a good well-being

5) Mental peace is above everything

Nowadays depression and anxiety don’t comprehend that much attention. People thought it as a part and parcel of modern lives. Little did we know that this time, our mindsets were about to change drastically.

Did any of us ever imagine that someday we have to seal ourselves between four walls? The thought of having no human communication seemed a joke to us. But all these petrifying thoughts came to reality.

The COVID victims who were isolated from their family know how haunting it was. Depression jeopardized everyone’s mental peace during this pandemic. We realized a lesson that mental peace comes above any other materialistic happiness. Mental peace is a veritable necessity for a healthy life. Our minds need to be free from the rat-ruckus of consumerist standards of the society. Then only we can have the courage to sing our heart out and live life to our terms.
